Aleda M. Milleville, 91, of Altamont, died at 8:09 a.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017 at HSHS St. Anthonys Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont with Pee Wee Denton officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
Aleda was born on Thursday, June 17, 1926 in Mason, IL to Fred and Maude (Culley) Stein. She married John F. Milleville on June 20, 1949, and they were married for over 67 years when he passed away on December 14, 2016. She was a member of the Gieseking-Schwerdtfeger V.F.W. Post #7676 Auxiliary, Altamont and was very active and served in many capacities at the Effingham County Fair and assisted her husband with the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs.
She is survived by: her sons; Dan (Brenda) Milleville, Glen (Lorrie) Milleville, Gary (Samantha) Milleville, and Russell Milleville, all of Altamont; daughters, Oleta (Jim) Weaver of Lubbock, TX, Juanita (Rick) Komosinski of Belle Vernon, PA, Rita (Wayne) Garn of Toms River, NJ, Mary Ann (Terry) Smith of St. Elmo, and Lois Phillips of Altamont; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, Leland Milleville; son-in-law, Mark Phillips, brothers, Fredrick and Lester Stein; sisters, Emma Stein, Myra Hooper, Belva Eubanks, and Winifred Stein.
