Anna L. Bobbett, 83, of Altamont, went home to be the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Anna was born October 14, 1933, in Beattyville, Kentucky, the daughter of J. Everett Brandenburg Sr. and Georgia L. (Caudill) Brandenburg. She was a retired school teacher, an insatiable reader, and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile, gracious nature and ready sense of humor.
Anna is survived by daughters, Deborah (Joe) Cohorst, Barbara Logsdon (special friend, Roger Bailey), and Mary Ann (Joe) Moon; one sister, Dorothy Huffman of Soulsbyville, California; brothers, James E. (Barbara) Brandenburg Jr. of Beattyville, KY, Robert (Linda) Brandenburg of Troy, Michigan, and Irvine "Bo" (Theresa) Brandenburg of Nicholasville, KY.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clyde E. Tharp and Billy Joe Bobbett; grandsons, Michael Logsdon and Dwayne Logsdon; sisters, Carlietta Stewart and Linda Hobbs; and brother, Frank Brandenburg.
