Clark E. Warner Jr. went to meet his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2017, in Fort Myers, Fla.
As per Clark's wishes, his body was donated to science. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mason Christian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. The Rev. Mark White will officiate and military rites will be accorded.
He was born Nov. 1, 1944, in Union Twp., to Clark E. and Saxon (Hardin) Warner. He married Cheryl Cooper on Aug. 6, 1994, in Decatur. He was a graduate of Effingham High School and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; mother, Saxon Warner of Mason; sons, Clark Curtis of Gibson City, and Leslie Dale of Decatur; daughters, Angela Renee Marx of Cheboyan, Mich., and Brondrea Warner of Fort Myers, Fla.; stepdaughters, Tiffany Holmes of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Tamika Holmes of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Gale (Glenda) of Altamont; and sister, Melody (Bill) Culver of Mason; several grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clark Sr.; brothers, Charles David and Thomas Joe; sister, Linda Moore; and stepdaughter, LaTanya Leonard.
