Nancy was born on September 6, 1947 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and Suzanne (Wilson) Phillips. Nancy was a graduate of Stew-Stras High School. She went on to work in cosmetology and had her own hair salon for many years. Nancy was a member of the Stewardson Night Home Extension. She had a love of cooking that led her to work for the Timbers and in recent years at Witt's Smokehouse. Nancy was a fun loving person who never met a stranger. She loved going to the beach and traveling to spend time with family. Nancy had the gift of loving others well. She was generous with her time as she drove elderly neighbors to the doctor or cooked a meal for someone in need. Nancy's passing will be felt by many.
