A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham, IL. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

Caroline was born on December 13, 1960, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Richard Charles and Mary Louise (Underriner) Dietzen.
Caroline is survived by her siblings, Catherine August (Raymond), Marianne Hagerty (Patrick), Martha Haenni (Mark), Michael Dietzen, Rosemarie Specht (David), Barbara Hoene (William), John Dietzen, and Angela Rickabaugh (Todd); 27 nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Joseph Charles Dietzen.
