Louisville, Illinois - Dale L. Weber, 60, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at his home in rural Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Headyville Christian Church in rural Jasper County, with Pastor Carroll Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Shouse Chapel Cemetery, Bible Grove. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Dale was born April 8, 1965 in Olney, the son of Floyd and Leona Ruth (Bateman) Weber. He married Dena Robinson on June 12, 1993. Dale began his career at Effingham Equity in the mid 1980's, working in both the hardware and fuel departments, where he dedicated many years of faithful service. He also proudly served his community as a former part-time police officer for the cities of Effingham and West Salem, and as a Bible Grove Township trustee.
Dale greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting friends, attending church, listening to music, going to sporting events, farming, and mowing grass. He was known for always looking out for others, helping wherever he could, and living a humble life that honored God. Though he was looking forward to retirement and making new memories with his family, Dale was ready to be in the presence of the Lord, finding peace and rest in His loving arms.
Dale is survived by his wife, Dena of rural Louisville; sons, Benjamin Deaton, Bryce Weber, and Brandon (fiancé, Hollie) Weber, all of rural Louisville; brothers, Larry (Dena) Weber of Effingham and Jerry (Louise) Weber of Teutopolis; sister, Mary (Joe) Cardasio of Mt. Zion.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
