Champaign, Ill - Lynn was born August 14, 1946, in Effingham, the daughter of Dean and Genevieve (Peters) Tipsword.
She married Fernando Velasco August 1971. Lynn was a retired schoolteacher and an amazing artist.
Lynn is survived by her cherished son, Andy, Andy's longtime partner, Deborah, and granddaughter, Milan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Tom and Mike Tipsword.
Lynn valued a close circle of friends, especially her life's fellow travelers from Effingham High School Class of '65.
In keeping with Lynn's wishes, no formal service will be held; honor Lynn with a fond memory and a big smile.
Lynn had a special love for her four-legged companions, memorial donations may be made in her memory to New Beginnings Shih Tzu Recuse.
