Effingham, IL - John Dale "J.D." Butler, age 90, of Effingham, Illinois, and formerly of Clay County, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Evergreen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Effingham.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will follow in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville. A visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
