Mickey Veach, 76, of rural Mason died at 9:28 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025 at her home.
Private family services will be held at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriner's Hospital for Children, or E.A.R.S.
Mickey E. Veach was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1948 in Effingham to Amos and Florine (Largent) Ashley. She married Lowell Veach on December 30, 1975. Over the years she had worked at Richardson Brothers Greenhouses, St. Elmo, Fedders USA, Effingham, the Glenwood Assisted Living of Effingham, Wetherell Place, Effingham and had worked in respiratory therapy.
In addition to her husband of over 49 years, she is survived by; her sons, Kenneth Veach, Elmhurst, Daniel (Carrie) Veach, Effingham and Kelly (Shelley) Veach, Effingham; daughter, Sherri (Kelly) Robinson, Edgewood; sister, Melanie Hall, Effingham; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; and sister, Jennie Dunn.
