Yale, Illinois - Nancy Nichols, 74, of Yale, Illinois, passed away at 10:44 am on May 16, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 22, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup. There will be a one-hour visitation on May 22, 2023, also at the Barkley Funeral Chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service. The burial will be in the Yale Cemetery.

Nancy was born on February 27, 1949, in Effingham, Illinois, to Karl and Bernice Aleen (Huddlestun) Wattleworth. She married Kenneth Nichols on March 4, 1967. Survivors include her husband, Ken; son Jeffery Nichols; and sister Karen Kruze. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jennifer Draves 11/25/1998; and brother Roger Wattleworth.

Nancy worked for the Jasper County Circuit Clerks Office for 23 years.
